Core Plot Introduction
Watchmaker's apprentice Ryan lives in Oakhaven, the brass sky city floating above the clouds. After the ancestor clock in the center of the city suddenly makes abnormal noise, the whole city falls into false comfort of eternal stagnation. To wake up the residents devoured by numbness, Ryan embarks on an adventure to the core of the giant clock. He resists multiple temptations of delicious food, wealth, illusion and power along the way, and finally retrieves real vitality and future for the city imprisoned by clockwork rules with the glimmer of humanity and pure courage.

The entire city of Oakhaven is built on a giant brass disc. The morning sun is projected by gold-plated reflectors, the singing birds are precision clockwork larks, and all sounds are accompanied by the constant ticking rhythm of underground gears. When cracks appear in the order, stagnant dusk, endless comfort traps, and clockwork core eroded by mechanical viruses jointly form a romantic and solemn fantasy mechanical world.
